Twitter Petition is a Phishing Scam

According to Sophos security, a new Twitter phishing scam has been making it's rounds. The scam claims Twitter will begin charging for service in October and asks users to "Sign a petition" to keep the service free.

Following the link will require a fake Twitter login, where your password will be stolen.
